Murge
Murge is a daily merge puzzle game. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what's needed to make the game work. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Account information — You can play anonymously or connect an Apple or Google account. If you connect an account, your provider may share your name and email address. We only use this to link your scores across devices. Anonymous players are identified by a random ID generated on the device.
Display name — A name you choose (or one we generate for you). Shown on the leaderboard. You can change it anytime in Settings.
Gameplay data — Your daily scores, merge counts, chain length, and streak. This powers the leaderboard and your personal stats.
Analytics events — We use GameAnalytics to understand how the game is played (e.g., how often games are started, average scores, whether features like shake are used). This data is anonymous and not linked to your identity.
Murge uses Supabase Auth for account management. You can play without an account (anonymous mode). If you choose to connect an Apple or Google account, we use their sign-in services to verify your identity. Your provider may share your name and email address. We only use this to link your scores across devices.
You can sign out at any time in Settings. Signing out creates a new anonymous session. You can sign back in to recover your linked scores.
Gameplay data (scores, names, streaks) and authentication are managed by Supabase, a cloud database service. Analytics data is processed by GameAnalytics. Both services store data securely and are hosted in the United States and European Union.
Your scores and leaderboard data are kept indefinitely as part of the game's history. If you'd like your data removed, contact us and we'll delete it.
Murge does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game does not require an account and collects minimal data.
